Hudson, Haynes Emmons

Haynes Emmons Hudson was born in Rochester, New York, in October 1838. During the Civil War, he served in the United States Army as an adjutant for the Engineer Regiment of the West. In 1865, he became a resident of Memphis where he served as Judge of the Criminal Court of Memphis, United States Commissioner for the Western District of Tennessee, and United States District Attorney. He died June 4, 1873, in Memphis, Tennessee.
